After a six year gap, Barking Dog will be presenting Barney & The Bookworm again in 2010.
The show tells the story of Barney who sees no point in books and reading untill one day
when he gets trapped in a magic library. First he meets the Bookworm who tries to explain how
important and what funs books can be. Barney at first is having none of it but as
characters come to life from the books the light gradually dawns.
With original music and audience participation as well as use of puppetry and mime,
this is ideal for any book week.
