Child Of The Ocean (P.Jacobs)
Written (and sung) by original Dragons' guitar player Pat Jacobs.
Pat left the band back in 1999 but has played with us a couple
of times since.

The first time I looked upon your face
I saw two eyes shimmering green
You asked all the riddles of the ocean
You did not tell me what they mean

The second time I looked upon your face
I saw the forests and the trees
I did not heed the warning breezes
Now you got me down upon my knees

CHORUS
Oh you're a child of the ocean
Oh you're a child of the sea
  I hear the hurrican approaching
Please come sail away with me

The third time I loked upon your face
I saw the sky reflected blue
In the clouds an Albatross was sighing
He whispered to me legends do come true

The fourth time I looked upon your face
I saw the rivers and the sand
The water was trickling through my fingers
And the gold was glimmering in my hands

CHORUS

The last time I looked upon your face
I saw the earth, the sky, the sea
You led me down your secret paths and alleyways
And told me what will be will be
